just like when you were a kid...
For this project, you will need to write a story...with pictures.
It could be simple...or it could be elaborate. The more parts to your story, the more points you will receive. However, the minimum is THREE.
Here's how you will proceed:
1. Think of a story with at least a beginning, middle, and end. My story is a love story and it goes like this:
There was a chicken. She laid some eggs. One day the eggs hatched. (it's as simple as that!)
2. Create a shot list for each part of your story. This should be completed and posted to a new page titled "coloring book" by TBD. Here's what my shot list would look like:
Beginning: Picture of a chicken straight on.
Middle: Picture of eggs in a nest or basket.
End: Picture of baby chickens
If I wanted to be more elaborate, I might add a rooster to the mix:
Beginning: Picture of one egg
Beginning 2: Picture of a chicken straight on
Middle One: Picture of a chicken with a rooster
Middle Two: Picture of eggs in a basket
End: Picture of baby chickens
3. Take at least 3 photos for each part of your story (you can choose 3 or 5 parts to your story...no less). That's a minimum of 9 photos.
OR
Find at least 3 different photos for each part of your story. These need to be high resolution images. I highly recommend you do some searching at home as there isn't a huge selection available on the school computers. When searching at school, type "chicken photo" instead of just "chicken." More images will pop up.
These will be due on TBD We will begin to create our "coloring books" this day. If you do not have your photos, you will be BEHIND on the project and you will not receive full participation points for the day. Here's what my final pictures would look like:

We will edit these photos to become coloring book pages and then apply medium to make them COLORFUL! Think of it as a trip back to your childhood! There is more to come....
